Starting a doctoral program can be an exciting, and sometimes overwhelming, experience. I hope this website will help provide some clarity about the program, and provide knowledge to help ease the transition. My approach to advising is to provide resources and information in a supportive and efficient manner.
Please use this website to learn more about me, and make yourself familiar with some of the resources that NC State has to offer you. We will meet virtually or in-person to register you for your fall semester courses. To the left you will see courses we typically recommend based on your start date and enrollment status. Many doctoral courses are offered on a two year rotation. Doctoral students course's tend to differ depending upon transfer credits, work status, and interests. We will make the best decision for you based on your needs, course offerings for the semester, and other circumstances. These courses just suggestions, we will meet to make a final decision. |

Graduate Student FundingPursuing a doctoral degree can be expensive. Learn more about the range of funding opportunities available at NC State. Specifically, the Graduate Student Support Plan is a package that includes a tuition waiver, student health insurance, and a stipend in exchange for part-time work.
