Welcome to NC State!I am pleased to welcome you to the counselor education program and serve as your academic advisor! Starting a graduate program can be an exciting, and sometimes overwhelming, experience. I hope this website will help provide some clarity about the program, and provide knowledge to help ease the transition. My approach to advising is to provide resources and information in a supportive and efficient manner.
Please use this website to learn more about me, and make yourself familiar with some of the resources that NC State has to offer you. We will meet virtually or face-to-face to select courses for your first semester. You can decide if you wish to begin in the summer or the fall semester, and if you wish to enroll full-time (9+ credits/ 3+ courses) or part-time (less than 9 credits/ 2 or fewer courses). To the left you will see courses we typically recommend based on your start date and enrollment status. These are subject to change. We will make the best decision for you based on your needs, course offerings for the semester, and other circumstances. I look forward to meeting you soon! |
